Mass shootings in California, 4 people were killed



At least four people were killed in a series of mass shootings in California, United States, on Tuesday (14/11).

California police reports, at least 10 other people were injured, including two students at an elementary school near the town of Corning, where the perpetrator was later killed at the hands of officers.

A local daily, Redding Record Searchlight, reported that the series of incidents began when a man opened fire in a House and six other locations at around 08.00.


The man was then to primary Rancho Tehama and opened fire indiscriminately. Tehama Police Department Assistant Chief, Phill Johnston, said that the perpetrators carried either a spring-gun automatically and two pistols.

One of the residents, Coy Ferreira, claimed to hear a number of shots when he was dropping off his daughter at school.

"One of the teachers of geluar from the building and told us to leave because the shooter was approaching," said Ferreira, as quoted Reuters.

Now, the investigation is still ongoing. Johnston has yet to uncover a motive or the identity of the perpetrators.

However, the Sacramento Bee daily reported that the unidentified man was named Kevin Janson Neal, a local citizen who once was arrested last February on the piercing related.

Mass shootings of this kind frequently occur in the US. Any Vice President Mike Pence say condolences via his personal Twitter account.

"Deep Sorrow on hearing of the shooting in California which claimed a number of lives, including innocent children," said Pence.
